Sawgrass Country Club Celebrates July 4 During America’s 250th Year

Sawgrass Country Club’s Fourth of July celebration was full of the kind of moments that make summer traditions matter. Families gathered across the grounds for carnival rides, games, live music, great food, children’s activities, and a fireworks finale over the water. During America’s 250th year, the red, white, and blue celebration felt especially meaningful.
As a Jacksonville event photographer, I was honored to photograph the energy, pride, and connection shared throughout the day at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach.
The event had something happening around every corner. Children rode the Ferris wheel, families gathered for cotton candy and treats, members enjoyed food stations and music, and the club’s grounds became a place for neighbors and friends to spend the holiday together. From candid smiles to the larger views of the course, tents, and carnival lights, every part of the event helped tell the story of the day.
Photographing the Details That Build Community
A well-planned club event has many moving parts. There are decorations, signage, food, entertainment, games, staff, sponsors, and guests who have all come together for a shared experience.
Those details deserve to be photographed with purpose.
For Sawgrass Country Club, that meant capturing the patriotic décor, the “250” celebration display, the Ferris wheel against the golf course and palm trees, families enjoying the lawn, and the smaller moments that make an event feel personal. A child eating watermelon, friends laughing over dinner, a pie-eating contest, or someone looking up at the fireworks can become the images people remember most.

A Fourth of July Celebration Made for Families
